Follow-up to the November 2019 event with Doug Griffiths

13 Ways to Kill
your Community

Didn't get to the presentation on November 14?

We invite you to read Doug Griffiths book 13 Ways to Kill your Community. Copies are available from your local branch of the Region of Waterloo Library.

You can also visit Doug's website, 13 Ways.

Pre-Event Community Assessment

Registrants to the November 14 event were invited to take part in a survey,  a community assessment tool developed by 13 Ways to establish a baseline about our current feelings living in Woolwich Township. It was 100% anonymous. To make the survey statistically relevant we needed 30 people to fill out the survey. We had 50 respondents. The survey was prepared by Doug Griffiths

The results will help Woolwich Healthy Communities and our partners to identify areas where we can concentrate our efforts and resources.

You can download a pdf of the results here (1,171 KB).

Summary Review
from Doug Griffiths

Doug Griffiths also provided us with a summary review of the issues that he sees our community experiencing. It is the result of a brief tour of the area, speaking to members of the public, reading recent survey data from Woolwich Community Health Centre and his own research conducted prior to delivering his presentation.

You can read his summary review here (pdf 150 KB).
