The Grand River Conservation Authority will be conducting repair work on the Woolwich Dam during the following dates:


  1. Phase I – October 1, 2017 – Febuary 28, 2018
  2. Phase II – October 1, 2018 – February 28, 2019

This work means that access across the dam will be unavailable for the public during those periods (the entire dam deck and area around the dam will be closed). Construction barriers and fencing will be placed around the site with signage noting the trail closure. The rest of the trail will remain open during this time.
