Join the Trees for Woolwich group to plant 200 trees and shrubs along a tributary of Hopewell Creek near Breslau. Please bring gloves (if you wish), a round mouth shovel and wear closed-toe footwear. Please meet at Doug and Raffina Knetchel’s farm at 1117 Spitzig Road at 8:30. There will be a planting demo at 8:45. Doug and Raffina invite all volunteers to stay for lunch following the planting.
Saturday May 26, 8:30 am until noon. Transplanting day at the TWEEC tree nursery in Elmira.
Please join Trees for Woolwich and TWEEC volunteers to transplant seedlings at the TWEEC tree nursery in Elmira. Please bring gloves and dress for the weather. Please meet at 8:30 am at the tree nursery located at 89 Southfield Drive. Please park at the trail parking lot at 96 Southfield Drive and walk about 300 m south along the trail past the storm pond to the nursery.
